Apple To Kill Off iPhone 5C In 2015
It is being reported that Apple will kill off the iPhone 5C in 2015 as manufacturers will cease production of the device. Apple launched the iPhone 5C in 2013 as a cheaper option for customers to the iPhone 5S. The 5C doesn’t feature the Touch ID fingerprint sensor or the much faster A7 processor that can be found on the iPhone 5S. The 5C was the first colourful iPhone and comes in 5 different colours.
There has been no official reason for the manufacturing of the 5C to end, but Apple do tend to eventually phase out older products once new models are launched.
