Apple Stores To Have Safes Installed For Gold Apple Watch
The Apple Watch is set for release in April and Apple are going to install special safes in their retail stores for the safety of the Gold Apple Watch. The company haven’t revealed the price of the luxury device but experts are predicting a price tag of possibly $5000 (which is about £3,300). The Watch Edition is the luxury model of Apple’s first wearable device and is 18-karat gold with a Sapphire crystal covering on the screen. A nice touch from Apple but will it be as impressive as Goldgenie’s 24k version which will be available in gold, rose gold and platinum?
The Apple safes will have integrated Apple Watch MagSafe chargers to ensure the demonstration are fully charged for the start of the day. Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed last week that the Apple Watch would go on sale from April. The wearable device will be available in 3 models (Watch, Watch Sport, and Watch Edition) and will come in 2 sizes (38mm and 42mm). The smart watch will also be available with various strap styles including stainless steel, leather and “durable high-performance fluoroelastomer”.
