Apple To Include Beats App In iOS Update In 2015
The Financial Times is reporting that Apple has a plan to push its Beats streaming music service to every iPhone in 2015. It is believed that Apple will include the Beats app in its latest software update to the iOS operating system.
Beats are renowned for their headphones and were acquired by Apple for $3bn (about £1.9bn) in May this year. Apple have declined to comment on the Financial Time’s report. In fact it was the FT who first made the announcement of Apple’s acquisition of Beats earlier in 2014.
Apple’s move into the streaming music market poses a huge threat to market leader Spotify and by pre-installing the app on Apple devices means it will be extremely easy for customers to use.
