Apple Watch To Contribute To A Large Portion Of Apple’s Growth
Research company Evercore are predicting that the Apple Watch will contribute to a significant part of Apple’s growth in 2015. Company analyst Rob Cihra told investors on Monday that he believes the latest Apple device will launch around March, which we actually reported a couple of months back.
At the retail price of $500 (approximately £325), and with about 9 months left of 2015 to sell it he expects that it will be a “meaningful” addition to the company’s finances. He predicts that the wearable tech device will add 4% to its 2015 revenue, and will account for 36% of Apple’s growth over 2014.
China said “(Apple has a) proven ability to develop intuitive software UIs and design tech products that are fashionable as they are functional. We think focusing on smartwatch specs misses this ‘fashion intangible,’ likely the most important factor in ultimate adoption, yet we see Apple as the one company that could make smartwatches cool.”
