Apple Watch Will Have Short Battery Life
Since Apple revealed their new smartwatch there has been some concern if the Apple Watch Will Have Short Battery Life. Until the watch is launched then we won’t truly know just how long the device will last before needing to be charged but recent rumours suggest that the device will need charging at least once a day, depending how the watch is used. Apple Intelligence website 9to5Mac are saying that the Apple Watch will settle in at about 2 to 3 days in standby mode, but only 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours of active app use. There is certainly no improvement on what is already available in the smart watch world.
If you would like your watch face on display permanently then the battery will be flat in about 3 hours. Apparently Apple want the watch to achieve 19 hours of mixed use, but as with most of the first release Apple products it will probably not achieve or better that until at least the release of the second model.
It is impossible to really confirm any of this until we have a watch in our hands and can try it for ourselves but with most rumours from the reliable sources they tend to be at least close to the mark.
