Apple’s iOS 8.1.1 Software Update Is Here
Apple’s latest software update iOS 8.1.1 has been released and they have also treated Mac users to their very first Yosemite update. iOS 8.1.1 will not change the lives of most Apple users but will make a difference to owners of an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 as it is those devices that will gain most from the update. Apple claim that it will speed things up on these older devices after the 8.0 update led to criticism from owners of these devices.
Although Apple have not issued a list of specific bugs that iOS 8.1.1 sorts out it is believed that the update does include a number of fixes. They have also released the first major update for the Yosemite operating system, Mac OS X 10.10.1, which will fix the WiFi problems that has been the cause of so many complaints.
Large numbers of Macbook and iMac users have had problems connecting to certain WiFi connections, while others have complained of long loading times and also unstable connectivity. They have also rolled out an Apple TV update to resolve a number of problems.
