Apple’s Press Event Could Reveal New iPads On October 16th

Apple have announced that their next product press event will take place on October 16th. Apple have sent out invitations to journalists and it is expected that it will be the latest iPad models that will be the feature.

The invitation shows a close up of the top of the Apple logo in colour and it also features the tag line “it’s been way too long”.

This latest Apple event will take place in the the Town Hall auditorium at their HQ in California which is a much smaller venue than the one that took place in September for the much anticipated launch of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and also the Apple’s Smartwatch.

The new iPads are expected to include the Touch ID sensor that was first introduced on the iPhone 5S and industry experts are also predicting an iPad with a larger screen. Keep an eye on the Goldgenie news site for more updates leading up to the event.
