The usage of Artificial Intelligence in video games is more advanced than in any other area. In other words, there would be no concept of video games without Artificial Intelligence. Now A.I. is not just helping in creating the game but now it is developing new levels of games on its own by learning from youtube videos.

This new A.I. system was presented by researchers at Georgia Institute of Technology. The A.I. system learns the rules of Super Mario by watching the gameplay videos on youtube, it learns about the terrain, about the player playing behaviour and then it places an algorithm on the basis of its research to create its own new levels. One of the developers of this new A.I. system Mark Riedl said, ‘‘our system creates a model or template, and it’s able to produce level sections that have never been seen before, do not appear random and can be traversed by the player. One could say that the system ‘studies’ the design of Mario levels until it is able to create new playable areas.” When presented and tested, this system created 151 unique levels.
