BlackBerry To Restore Reputation With All Touchscreen “Rio”
BlackBerry have been featuring regularly in industry news recently and they look to turn around their fortunes. Could it be that 2015 will be the year that they bound back? They certainly have some interesting plans in place and everything is pointing to a successful year next year. It is being reported that they have started working on a new all touch screen flagship smartphone with the codename ‘Rio’.
BlackBerry’s reputation has been in tatters over the last couple of years and they are looking to repair it with some exciting new devices. They recently released the BlackBerry Passport smartphone as an experiment early in 2014 and it came with mixed reviews but was considered a decent starting point for a once respected company to turn things around.
December will see the release of BlacBerry’s back-to-basics Classic, but it is the Rio that is already being considered as the device that will spark a revival for BlackBerry that will help them regain a large market share in the smartphone sphere.
