BlackBerry and Samsung Team Up To Battle Apple

Apple’s recent success with it’s iOS platform has has seen tongues wagging about the possible demise BlackBerry. Poor old BlackBerry have had enough problems over the last few years without more bad news. However, these days BlackBerry will stand up and fight. The last year has seen BlackBerry shares rise 75% and they are ready to do battle with the best of them. The news that they are teaming up with Apple’s enemy Samsung will give them huge strength.

Samsung and BlackBerry

On Thursday BlackBerry unveiled the BlackBerry Enterprise Service 12 (BES12), which is a next generation enterprise platform that allows IT professionals to deploy and manage mobile devices. Also BlackBerry announced that it has joined forces with Samsung, and the two companies will sell each other’s mobile security solutions.

The Wall Street Journal says the deal will be beneficial to both companies as it will give BlackBerry access to a bigger customer base and Samsung will benefit from BlackBerry’s mobile security.

So it looks like BlackBerry will not be going down any time soon as they look to be going from strength to strength and this new partnership can only be beneficial for both BlackBerry and Samsung.
