BlackBerry Use iPhone For Twitter Post

So as BlackBerry begin to recover from some turbulent years the last thing they needed was any embarrassment. The headline BlackBerry Use iPhone For Twitter Post  is not what the Canadian firm would want to see just now!  We can only assume that even BlackBerry’s own social media staff would prefer to use an iPhone than a new BlackBerry.

BlackBerry iPhone TweetAs you can see from the image on the left a BlackBerry tweet was posted on “Twitter For iPhone”. The tweet was supposed to be promoting the new BlackBerry Classic and was urging customers to use their device for their Tweets. Obviously the embarrassing post has since been removed from their Twitter account but not before the evidence was saved!

There has been no statement from BlackBerry so far and they are probably hoping to sweep the incident under the carpet. There is no denying it though, this is one almighty blunder for a company that are desperately trying to restore a rather tarnished reputation.

They are trying to convince their existing customers and potential new customers that the BlackBerry Passport is a much better smartphone than the Apple iPhone 6 but this won’t really help their argument and it is likely that the big guns at Apple are having a little chuckle to themselves.
