Google In A Battle To “Stand Up To Cancer”

Google is making an attempt to “Stand Up To Cancer” with an amazing new creation to help spot early signs of cancer in the human body. As we know Google always want to try and create something new and innovative for the world and it really doesn’t come much bigger than this. They are designing tiny magnetic particles, known as nano particles to patrol the human body for signs of cancer and other diseases.

These small particles are less than 1000th the width of an ordinary red blood cell and they would seek out and attach themselves to cells, proteins or other molecules inside the body. Google is also apparently creating some wearable technology that would be a monitoring tool to diseases within the body.

Andrew Conrad is the head of the Life Sciences team at Google and he said “Every test you ever go to the doctor for will be done through this system, that is our dream.”

This isn’t happening over night. It is expected to take 5 years or more and will have an enormous amount of hurdles in that period. It may seem ambitious, but with an organisation of Google’s size it is always achievable and there is no reason to doubt them.

As always Goldgenie will keep you updated with this story that is sure to continue for some time.
