Google Glass Will Be Completely Redesigned Before Relaunch
We have written a few articles on Google Glass and we are hearing today that Google Glass Will Be Completely Redesigned Before Relaunch. The next model of the wearable product will apparently look nothing like the original. We did write a story not so long ago on the possible launch of Google Glass 2 this year but that may not be the case after all. Sources close to the new head of the Google Glass redevelopment project are claiming that he wants the product designed completely from scratch.
Tony Fadell is in charge of the Google Glass team, and he has big plans for the complete redesign of the headset. He was an Apple product executive and he is planning to completely overhaul Google Glass and insists that it will not be launched until it is finished.
The original wearable device was heavily criticised by those in the fashion industry mainly due to its clunky design. Many believe that the design was intentional to prevent any filming against knowledge, which has been quite a concern with this device from the start. An inconspicuous wearable device of this nature could lead to all sorts of issues, so it will be interesting to see where Google go with this.
