Google Health Feature Is Being Developed For Roll Out

Some really interesting news today as we hear that a Google Health Feature Is Being Developed For Roll Out. The search giant is developing the health feature that will provide important information about “common” medical conditions. The facility will provide medical illustrations, helpful possible treatments and other important data. Google says they are working with doctors to develop the service, but they did add that the service should not be treated as a service to use instead of seeking professional advice. It will be limited to America to start with.

Google Health

Prem Ramaswami is product manager at Google and he announced the launch of the feature saying: “One in 20 Google searches are for health-related information. We’ll show you typical symptoms and treatments, as well as details on how common the condition is – whether it’s critical, if it’s contagious, what ages it affects, and more. For some conditions you’ll also see high-quality illustrations from licensed medical illustrators. Once you get this basic info from Google, you should find it easier to do more research on other sites around the web, or know what questions to ask your doctor.”
