Google Launch a Helpful Companion for Ramadan
Google’s Ramadan companion, a Google Personal Assistant, has been launched for Muslims to keep up to date with the sunset and sunrise timings as well as tracking the nearest Halal restaurant in the Holy month of Ramadan which starts today, the 18th of June.
This Google Ramadan support named “My Ramadan Companion” will be very beneficial for muslims who are expatriated in non-denominational countries across the world. The associate product marketing manager for the Middle East and North Africa of Google, Mr Zain Kamal Masri said, “Technology helps more than 200 million Muslims living away from their families connect and share moments with loved ones, People look to Maps to navigate traffic and make it home from work for Iftar, download Google Play apps to plan their day around the sunset and sunrise, and look up Ramadan opening hours of their favourite local shops and restaurants.” My Ramadan Companion also provides tips how to remain healthy in the month along with different recipes of what to cook after Iftar once you start the Fast. Moreover it provides different Ramadan Videos, comedy shows and dramas as well.
