iPad Pro Release Date Delayed
Apple are expected to put the iPad Air Pro into production in the third quarter of this year according to an article in the Digitimes today. The screen is rumoured to behind the delay, pushing the anticipated release earlier this year forward to the autumn. The device, aimed at professionals in the medical and design industries and business executives, will be at least 12.5″ in screen dimensions, most likely 12.9″ in fact, which will give 76% more visual area a than the current 9.7in model if it keeps the same ratio.
The production team has been finalising its choice in Oxide LCD display screen, which must be considered carefully as the size of the screen could easily drain the battery and with a workplace tablet, power efficiency is paramount. The new model is expected to incorporate a faster A8X processor and USB ports also.
The popularity of tablets has grown in the workplace due their ease of use, portability and long lasting battery life. No doubt, the iPad Pro’s screen size will be welcomed to the market with open arms when it arrives later this year.
