iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Help Apple Dominate

The launch of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus has helped Apple claim almost 70% of the enterprise smartphone market in the 3rd quarter of 2014. According to Good Technology’s latest Mobility Index Report, the iPhone claimed 69% of global enterprise smartphone activations in the 3rd quarter. They did have a 67% market share in the 2nd quarter so an increase of 2% may not seem huge but it was thanks to the launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets that they pushed it up to nearly 70%.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said: “iPhone and iPad are the best mobile devices in the world and have transformed the way people work with over 98 percent of the Fortune 500 and over 92 percent of the Global 500 using iOS devices in their business today.”
