iPhone Sales Soar In Samsung’s South Korea
According to date reports by the Wall Street Journal we are to believe that the iPhone 6 is outselling the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in their own backyard.
Apple’s latest iPhones were at the preorder stage last week and all 3 of the South Korea’s mobile carriers took orders. 2 of those carriers reporting that the number of preorders soared past the numbers for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 over the same period of time in September.
The iPhone 6 will officially go on sale in South Korea on Friday and among the three South Korean carriers, KT Corp said that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models captured 10,000 preorders in just one minute, then surpassed 50,000 in 30 minutes.
However, ll have to say that Samsung is still the dominant smartphone creator in South Korea and there is nothing to suggest that this will change dramatically in the near future. Samsung owns 63% of the market in South Korea meaning it is highly unlikely anybody will knock them off their perch..
