iPhones to be Made in India?

It is very possible that the next iPhone you buy will have a Made in India stamp on it. Don’t get scared by thinking it may be a copy of an Apple iPhone. Well this is because the recent effort from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he visited Foxconn in china along with The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis in order to convince the Foxconn to install its manufacturing plant in Bangalore, India.

This will be a big step for the growing economy of India and produce a lot of jobs.  It will also encourage more companies to invest in Indian Market. Mr Fadnavis said, “The state government was in talks to get the manufacturing facility set up in Maharashtra.” And added “Possible site for the plant, which would need a ‘huge investment’, could be either Pune or Aurangabad.”
