Land Rover developed a smart-phone app to control the SUVs

Land Rover has recently unveiled a new remote system which can control its Range Rover Sport SUV through a smart-phone app. Jaguar Land Rover has revealed a nifty remote-control app which lets you drive your car using smart-phone, even by getting out of your car or standing beside it. You are able to control and handle steering, acceleration, brakes and switch gearshifts through the app which connects wirelessly to your car. You can be your own spotter by standing out and moving the huge vehicle in & out of tight parking spots or on some rough terrain while keeping an eye from outside. The software functions via Bluetooth, limits range to 10 meters and car can go a maximum 6km/h (4mp/h) in the remote pilot mode.
