Samsung To Enter Budget Smartphone Market

Samsung are planning a strategy reshuffle when it comes to smartphones as they have seen a third quarter financial slump. They are apparently now looking to concentrate on cheaper smartphones as competition from other Chinese smartphone manufacturers has intensified. Budget smartphones are big business in China. The budget smartphone market is seeing major growth and Samsung now intends to enter into it which won’t please those companies already making the cheaper devices as a big name brand like Samsung could easily corner the market.

Robert Yi, Samsung’s head of investor relations said at a conference recently “Tough competition leaves some uncertainties in our smartphone business for the Q4 earnings,”
