Samsung Could Release Two Models Of The Galaxy S6

Samsung are due to release the new Galaxy S6 and in order to compete with their competitors they may well release two new models of the smartphone. We are already hearing that one of the models will quite possibly have a metal design which is an improvement on the usual plastic, although the full details of this have not been confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung has always used plastic for the frame of its smartphones, but it now looks like they are going to follow in Apple’s footsteps, as they use metal for their iPhones. Samsung have moved toward the metal with smartphones like the Galaxy Alpha and it looks like they will follow up with the same for the new S6.

The other bit of news is that there could well be a 2nd S6 model that would have a curved edge like the Galaxy Note Edge, which uses the curved border to display icons and widgets to supplement the content you see on the main screen.

Obviously at this stage it is merely rumour and nothing is set in stone. However, it is likely that Samsung will like trying something different with the Galaxy S6 it compete with rivals like Apple.
