Sony’s Smartphone Sales Struggling
Sony have reported huge losses for the last quarter as their smartphone sales continue to slump. The losses stemmed largely from Sony’s slow sales of its Xperia smartphones but the losses were not as significant as analysts had predicted.
Sony have now amended their forecast for smartphone sales to $41 million for the year, down from July’s prediction of $43 million. Fortunately for the company the gaming side of the business is still thriving and seeing growth. Playstation sales are booming.
