Swarovski Seal Tag For Authenticity Introduced
Swarovski have introduced a new Swarovski seal tag for authenticity system in order to highlight the authenticity of Swarovski crystals used in products. Germain Bouchara is MD at Swarovski Professional in France and he said “It’s a way for our clients to tell their end consumers that what they are buying is legitimate and of high quality,”
The tag will be attached to products created by clients of the company that are sold outside of Swarovski’s own boutiques and the label will include the signature of company founder Daniel Swarovski. Each tag will have a unique code that will certify the authenticity of the crystals used on the product.
The new authenticity label system is seen as an opportunity for company’s to profit from Swarovski’s marketing tools such as branded events, multi-channel communication and brand visibility. Swarovski has calculated that customers are willing to pay up to 67% more for jewellery and 54% more for electronic items that are created using Swarovski crystals which they believe helps companies increase not only their turnover but also their profit.
