Wearable Technology To Be 2014 Festive Winner
We have written a few articles recently on Wearable Technology as it sees a regular growth pattern and certainly is no passing fad. Last Christmas tablets were the product that everyone was talking about, with the release of a new iPad amongst others but this festive season we are predicting that it will be ‘wearable technology’ that consumers get stuck into. New wearble tech products are being developed and launched at a growing rate and this Christmas could be the point where we see these devices becoming as popular as tablets have been in the past as sales are predicted to more than triple in the UK over the Christmas period.
We have seen the launch of the likes of Google Glass and smart watches recently but it is the wearable gadgets that monitor your health that could contribute the most to wearable tech’s future. These Health and fitness trackers account for about 39% of the wearable technology market. The information these gadgets provide is amazing, from how many steps you have taken in one day to things like the amount of calories that you have burnt. So with the diversity of the wearable products it is very highly plausible that it will be the year for these devices to really come to the fore.
