Will We Soon See The Apple Electric Car Hit The Market?

So an interesting story breaking is the rumour that we could soon see an Apple electric car as we are hearing that they are looking to venture into the electric car market. It is not a huge surprise and there have been whispers of a possible Apple iCar in the past. Experts such as The Mac Observer are confident that the tech giant could tackle premium electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla in the not too distant future with their very own Apple electric car.

Apple Car

Bryan Chaffin of the Mac Observer said: “When I asked one of my sources flat out to put a percentage chance on Apple working on an actual car – rather than some kind of car-related technology – I was told, ‘80%’. When coupled with everything I’ve learned since, I’m personally closer to 100%.”

Apple have recently poached staff members from Tesla and this is where the rumours have started from. Steve Jobs was keen to one day see Apple create the ultimate luxury electric car but it is believed that current Apple CEO Tim Cook was not as keen to go down that route. However, once these stories surface there is usually some substance to it, so we could well see the iCar before long.
